![]() September is a fabulous time of year when the nights start drawing in - this year September has so far been very warm - with temperatures around 22 degrees during the daytime with cooler evenings and an enormous harvest moon. Its also a time of autumn feasts with plenty of apples, blackberries, bullaces and sloes in all the hedges and orchards. The wildlife around the yurt camp including the foxes and badgers are very adaptable and they will eat from the windfalls and berries available. This year we have once again had guests who were taking part in the Dart 10k swim from the Steamer Quay in Totnes to Dittisham - what glorious viewpoint for all the amazing scenery that the Dart Valley has to offer. Our guests in September have been lucky to enjoy the lovely weather and clear skies - ideal for sky watchers.
