How to find us with Directions:

You can use the below links on the what3words website or free app to find your way to our camp and around our camp:

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT ARRIVALS AFTER 8PM -
Please try and plan to arrive between 4 and 5pm when a member of staff will be waiting at the camp for guests to arrive.


Address: Hemsford Yurt Camp, Hemsford, Littlehempston, Totnes, Devon, TQ9 6ND

Please Do Not use the post code of TQ9 6NE in your Sat Nav as this brings you to the farmhouse not the yurt camp. The camp is 3 fields away from the farm house and has its own entrance and parking area.  You are recommended to use What3words or Google Maps as we have a pin pointer at the exact camp location on Google maps - see below for the map of the area.

From Totnes take the A381 from Totnes, approximately 2 miles on take the left hand turn sign posted Littlehempston, follow the lane down into the valley at the bottom go under the railway bridge and over the small hump back bridge.  Immediately after take the next right hand turning signposted Hemsford.  Follow this lane for ¾ of a mile when you will come up to a small junction, travel straight on, go past the turning on the Right signposted Hemsford and carry on for a further 100 Yards,  the entrance to the stables, car park and Yurt camp is situated on your right, signposted Southford Stables.    Ample parking for cars is situated in the yard area.  Cars should remain on the concrete parking area and are not permitted to be parked next to the Yurts.

From Newton Abbot take the A381 towards Totnes, travel along the road for approximately 6 miles - when you go past the Pig and Whistle Pub on your right hand side, you will need to take the next turning on the right hand side, signposted for Littlehempston. Follow the lane down into the valley at the bottom go under the railway bridge and over the small hump back bridge.  Immediately take the next right hand turning signposted Hemsford.  Follow this lane for ¾ of a mile when you will come up to a small junction, travel straight on go past the turning on the Right signposted Hemsford and carry on for a further 100 Yards the entrance to the stables, car park and Yurt camp is situated on your right, signposted Southford Stables.    Ample parking for cars is situated in the yard area.  Cars should remain on the concrete parking area and are not permitted to be parked next to the Yurts.

Nearest railway station is at Totnes, The x64 Stagecoach bus runs regularly from Totnes – get off the bus at the Pig and Whistle stop and follow the directions as above.  Hemsford is ¾ of a mile from here.

Alternatively coming from Newton Abbot, regular stagecoach x64 buses run from Newton Abbot to Totnes and get off at the Pig and Whistle stop and follow directions as above.
