OUR YURTS

Picture
Panoramic view: L to R: Hems far left, Plym in distance, Dart and Tamar
Our Yurts are a traditional Mongolian design and are cool and light in summer and warm and cosy on cooler days. Our Yurts are fully equipped for your camping adventure with a log burning stove inside the larger Yurts and a fire pit outside each yurt for those campfire evenings.  There is a "stable" kitchen and dining room and a "field" kitchen and dining area under a canopy which are shared between all the yurts. Outside each yurt there is an outside seating area with fire pit.  We are happy for our guests to have small camp fires as long as they are kept well managed.

For your stay there is a choice of 4 yurts, the Hems yurt which can sleep up to 6 people, the Dart yurt and the Tamar yurt which can sleep up to 4 persons and the Plym yurt which can sleep 2 people.

Local produce including our own fresh free range eggs and seasonal vegetables are available depending on availability, and welcome grocery packs and breakfast hampers can be arranged if required.

Our Yurts are located in a peaceful and rural, quiet location within a large field in which there is a substantial deep trout pond, a small river, the River Hems and is surrounded by beautiful Devon countryside.  You will be able to collect fresh eggs from our Hens in a nearby orchard - ask when you arrive for convenient times to meet all our animals.
