Easter is coming very early this year and so we have been busily taking advantage of the lovely weather to put our yurts up for the forthcoming season. Fortunately the past few days have been lovely dry weather, with intermittent sunshine and clear cool nights with some frost and fog at times. We are welcoming our first guests of the season this weekend and we are hoping that the weather will remain stable so that the guests can enjoy the lovely sunsets and spring mornings. The Dart yurt and the Hems yurt will now be ready for the Easter holidays - there was always a question about this because of timings and because of the weather as we rely on fine and dry days to restore the yurts back on their bases having spent the winter tucked away in our barn. The wood burning stoves have been reinstalled and the yurts are now back on their bases looking great in the spring sunshine. Pictured above my son, Lewis and my husband Alan who spent the day putting up the Dart yurt and as you can see are very pleased with their efforts!!!

Easter is very early this year and we are fortunate to already have lots of guests wanting to book for the holidays however we are restricted by planning rules to opening our camp from 15th March each year so we are tentatively waiting for good weather to arrive soon so we can put up our yurts in time for the Easter holidays. Fingers crossed for some lovely dry weather in the next couple of weeks so we can keep all our guests happy. |
