Hallowe'en at the yurt camp is a very quiet time with all of the yurts packed away for the winter and the camp looking empty and only strewn with the autumn leaves that have fallen from the surrounding trees. Trick or treaters are very rare in the rural countryside and we are fortunate that this autumn has been very mild with only a few frosts and not much wet weather so far. Hemsford is a place with much history and some of the neighbours have reported sightings of ghostly figures strolling around the barns and farm house. Personally we have always felt that any spiritual presence was of a friendly nature and have never been alarmed by the tales of such sightings. Hallowe'en is traditionally a time for spirits to be out and about but I have not seen anything scary this year!!!!
