![]() Autumn at Hemsford yurt camp is a glorious time when the stunning location demonstrates the wonderful hues of the autumn trees. Everywhere the trees are changing colour and the leaves are gradually dropping to the ground. The Orchard floor is strewn with windfalls and loads of boozy wasps are still feeding off the rotting fruit. The overwhelming smell as you stroll through the field next to the orchard is that of warm cidery, fermenting apples. The yurt camp is still entertaining some guests now, despite the cooler temperatures and the darker mornings and evenings. Our guests are enjoying the autumn sunshine and the log burning stoves keep the yurts warm and toasty in the cooler evenings. The yurt camp is a lovely location for all sorts of visitors and last weekend hosted a youg lads 10th birthday "camping" party for a local family. The party was a great success with all the boys really enjoying their stay. What a lovely idea for a unique party and the weather was glorious too. The camp fires were still smoldering gently in the morning!!
