![]() The past 3 weeks have been glorious with sunshine and clear skies for lovely early summer holidays. Our recent guests have really enjoyed visiting the community pub, the Tally Ho at Littlehempston, and some of our guests have even ventured on the footpath across the fields to the Pig and Whistle Inn. We are fortunate that in the vicinity of the yurt camp are 3 great pubs to choose from, The Tally Ho and the The Pig and Whistle at Littlehempston and the Sea Trout at Staverton - they all offer their own unique style with local ales and quality local produce on their menus. The nearest geographically is the Tally Ho, which is run and owned by the community. A team of locals set out to buy and open the pub as a community venture and offered shares for sale along with obtaining a loan and a grant. The pub reopened this year and is a 15 minute walk from the yurt camp.
