Well despite the best that the Good Old British Summer can throw at Devon, the yurt camp is looking marvellous with lush paddocks surrounding the yurts and many species of wild flowers, campions, poppies, pimpernels, toadflax, orchids, yarrow, daisies, clover and many more flourishing with all the rain and warm sunshine. When the sun emerges from the behind the clouds its lovely and warm and the yurts are wonderful and cosy. Lots of our glampers have been making use of the fire pits and barbecue to sit outside and watch the clouds zooming across the skies. Our lake is overflowing, and the copious quantity of tadpoles which we were fascinated by earlier in the spring are now emerging onto the banks of the lake in massive quantities - tiny and perfectly formed - you have to watch where you are walking as there are so many. This is of course attracting the Heron who has been sitting for hours picking off his victims - nature at its best!
