Burgh Island at Bigbury on Sea Happy New Year to all our visitors and potential guests for 2014. 2014, will be our third year of running our yurt camp. We are currently in the process of upgrading our dining room, kitchen and bathroom facilities, and are looking forward to welcoming our first guests of this season in March. The weather recently has been very stormy and windy, however the yurts are safely stored in our barn and will be ready once again in the Spring. We are also in the process of designing an additional yurt location and will keep news of this exciting development updated on this blog. Kitty the yurt camp cat misses all our guests but is looking well despite all the rain, wind, thunder, hail and general stormy weather! The picture here is of Burgh Island, at Bigbury on sea, a very popular place to visit with our guests. There is a Surf School, Beach cafe, and during the summer has lifeguards on standby. The Island has a pub, the Pilchard Inn and a beautiful Art Deco Hotel - well recommended as a place to visit when you come and stay in our yurts.
