![]() Devon is one of the most stunning places to live and work with the fabulous countryside, beaches and moorland all in close proximity to the yurt camp. We are very blessed that our yurt camp has proved to be exceedingly popular, with over 400 guests having stayed with us in 2014 since we opened our yurt camp this season in March. We have had many guests from foreign parts staying again this season, with guests from all over the world visiting the stunning scenery that Devon can provide as well as a lovely holiday break in a peaceful location, away from city living. Many families have brought their children to stay with us and will leave with fond memories of walking barefoot through our fields, sitting around camp fires with toasted marshmallows, playing in our river and lake, pond dipping and spotting a multitude of wildlife from insects, butterflies and bees, to larger birds; swans, buzzards, wood peckers, along with the more common nightly visitors to our fields: badgers and foxes. We are now just about ready to close for another season and our last guests will be with us this weekend. Then we will be waiting for a dry spell so that we can once again take down our yurts and store them safely in our barn over winter ready for our reopening next March. Its very nice to already have bookings for 2014 and we are happy to take bookings over the winter months for next summer.
